1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
Rise Studio is an AI media creation platform operated by Rise Asia PTE. Limited, a company registered in Singapore at 3 Phillip Street, #14-05, Royal Group Building, Singapore 048693 ("Rise", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Rise Studio websites, applications and APIs at risestudio.ai and its subdomains (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and "you" means the company.
2. The Service
Rise Studio lets you generate and edit images, video, audio and 3D media using artificial intelligence models operated by third parties, organise that work into projects and scenes, and collaborate in shared workspaces. Every generation is performed by a third-party model provider — your prompts and any reference media you attach are sent to the provider that runs the model you selected, and their processing is essential to delivering the Service. Section 8 and our Privacy Policy describe this in detail.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret; anyone holding a workspace key can act within that workspace up to the key's permissions and spending cap. A workspace owner controls its members, keys, spending caps and content, and may remove any of them. If you join a workspace owned by someone else, the owner can see and manage work created in that workspace.
4. Credits and billing
- Credits are prepaid usage units. 1,000 credits correspond to one US dollar of platform usage. Credits are not money, hold no cash value outside the Service, and are not transferable between workspaces except by us.
- Every generation shows its price before it runs. The estimate is reserved when you submit and settled when the job completes; failed jobs are refunded to your balance automatically.
- Spent credits are not refundable. Unspent credits are refundable only where the law requires it. Credits do not expire while your account is in good standing.
- Bring-your-own-key (BYOK) workspaces connect their own accounts with model providers. In that mode the provider bills you directly under your agreement with them; our credit ledger tracks usage but moves no money.
- Prices for individual models can change as provider prices change. The price shown at submission is the price you pay.
5. Your content
You own what you bring and, as between you and us, you own what you make. Prompts, reference media and other material you upload ("inputs") remain yours. We claim no ownership over generated media ("outputs"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce and transmit your inputs and outputs solely to operate, secure and improve the Service — including sending inputs to the model provider you selected — and to display your content back to you and to members of your workspace. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups and the financial ledger, which records spending but not content.
6. The nature of AI output
- Outputs are generated by machine-learning models and may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to outputs generated for others from similar prompts. We do not warrant that outputs are unique, accurate, or free of third-party rights.
- Your rights in an output may vary by jurisdiction and by how much creative control you exercised. It is your responsibility to confirm an output is fit — legally and otherwise — for your intended use, especially commercial use.
- Model providers apply their own content policies and may refuse a generation. A refusal is not a fault in the Service; refunded credits are your remedy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create, upload or distribute:
- content that is illegal in Singapore or in the place you access the Service from, or that sexualises minors in any form, real or generated — this results in immediate termination and, where required, a report to authorities;
- non-consensual intimate imagery of any real person, or media that impersonates a real person — their face, voice or likeness — in a way a reasonable viewer would take as genuine, without that person's consent;
- content that infringes another party's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- deception at scale: disinformation, fraudulent reviews, forged documents or evidence;
- malware, or attempts to probe, overload or circumvent the Service's security, rate limits, spending caps or safety systems, or those of any model provider.
You also agree not to resell access to the Service or the underlying models without a written agreement with us. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that we reasonably believe breach this section, and where practical we will tell you why.
8. Third-party model providers
Generations are fulfilled by providers including fal.ai, Replicate and WaveSpeed, running models from vendors such as ByteDance, Black Forest Labs, OpenAI, Kuaishou and xAI. The set of providers and models changes over time. Your inputs are processed by the provider that fulfils your job under that provider's terms and privacy policy; in BYOK mode, your own agreement with the provider governs their processing. We choose providers with care but do not control them, and we are not responsible for their availability or for changes to their models' behaviour.
9. Intellectual property complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email support@risestudio.ai with the content's location, proof of your rights, and your contact details. We review complaints promptly, remove content where appropriate, and may terminate repeat infringers' accounts.
10. Availability and changes
The Service is under active development. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the Service; if we discontinue the Service entirely we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your content. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud. You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of section 7.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your workspace at any time from Settings; the financial ledger survives deletion so past billing remains auditable, but your content is removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, and may terminate otherwise on 30 days' notice. On termination for breach, remaining credits are forfeited; on termination by us without breach, we will refund unspent purchased credits.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stands. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and your continued use after that is acceptance. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the Service.
